Clubs From Denise Larrabee, a fourth grade teacher at Jericho Elementary in Jericho, Vermont: ìTeaching fourth grade has its rewards and challenges. My class is very much into clubs of various kinds so weíve started many new clubs that all kids can be a part of one way or another. For example, the ëDid It, Done Ití club consists of members who are up to snuff on home work. The ëMissing Piecesí club is for those who have a few pieces to catch up on. The ëBook Ití club consists of members who have reached their monthly reading goal. When the entire class is a member of the ëDid It, Done Ití club or the ëMultiplication Factsí club, we will have a special celebration. This will definitely deserve a change of pace day which is an incentive for all. This will help our class get it together and keep it together.î |
